FAISAN AT is a 3.5 year old, 16.1HH (and still growing), Blue Roan (Rubricano), inscribed and NOW REVISED (Pura Raza Espanola) Andalusian stallion. Faisan has spectacular movement, flawless conformation, uphill gaits, true freedom of shoulder, a balanced big canter and the natural ability to collect. The Passage is an innate movement for him which he performs at liberty. He has inherited the best that both his progenitors had to offer. Faisan has refined classic PRE features packaged in a tall elegant frame. Although already a striking looking horse, Faisan is still growing rapidly and will fill out significantly in the next 2 years to make a magnificent stallion. As of September 25, 2010, Faisan has been approved as a stallion by the LG ANCCE in Spain. He is therefore listed in their studbook. All offspring by P.R.E. mares may be inscribed P.R.E.. Offspring by Andalusian/PRE mares or other breeds can now be registered pure or half bred Andalusian with the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association. (Registration #14014S) Faisan resides in Guelph Ontario at Leatherstone Equestrian Centre and is available to be viewed by appointment. Born April 2008, as a rising 4 year old, Nero demonstrated beautiful reach for executing extensions in addition to his natural born ability for collection. At his Spanish Revision, October 2011, Nero received outstanding conformation and temperament remarks from the Spanish Official, stating “he will excel in sport”. We are very excited to watch this youngster grow and develop over the next few years. In 2011, Nero was accepted into the training program of Gina Smith and has embarked onto his dressage career.
