A wonderful stallion to work with and a member of Canadas' 2006 Dressage National team member, Rheirattack will be performing in the Dressage Quadrille at the Royal Winter Fair in November. We are so excited to have one of our client stallions performing at this level! Congratulations to Susanne Dutt-Roth of Rideauwood Farm and Rheirattack on this magnificient acheivement!

As well, this stallions frozen semen has had a success rate of 85% first cycle!!

Semen frozen by Iron Horse Equine from a number of stallions had excellent results this past breeding season, making our international average at 84% first cycle pregnancy rates!! We shipped semen to Italy, France, Sweden and Israel with tremendous success! Thank you to all involved world wide that have contributed to this success!!

Thank you to Emerald Hero, an Irish Sport Horse banked by Iron Horse Equine! We have shipped frozen semen for 5 mares for this stallion over the last 2 years, resulting in 5 pregnancies first cycle! That is 100% first cycle pregnancy rate with this stallions frozen semen!

Although a slow year for breeding, Iron Horse Equine shipped 11 doses of frozen semen for 2005, resulting in 10 first cycle pregnancies. That is a 90% first cycle pregnancy rate for semen frozen by our services! Thank you to all mare owners and veterinarians for their dilegent work!

Our journey continued to Quebec before heading to New Brunswick to meet with a breeder of both Canadian Horses and Canadian Sport Horses. BC Trip

Our Trip to the West coast was a wet one, with 16 out of 21 days of rain!  The weather did not stop Iron Horse from persevering and visiting all of our stops, with a few unplanned stops as well. We met with many breeders in Nanaimo, BC at our reproduction information booth at the VIEX Aug 20-22.   We traveled as far north as Chetwynd, BC, braving the hail in the area and meeting some wonderful breeders in the area. Thank you to all who welcomed us to their farms!  It was an exciting time!  We met with so many people, we are planning a return trip next August. Contact us for more details.

It's our First!  The tallest breed, the Shire Horse, has now been added to the list of stallions banked by our frozen semen services!  This fellow here with our own Deb Ottier, is an 18 yr old stallion in New York, and was the first Shire stallion to be collected by Iron Horse Equine in July, 2004. "It is very important for breeds to utilize technology and bank the sperm of rare or older bloodlines in order to preserve genetics for the future" says former reproduction researcher and IHE member Deb Ottier.
