Volunteer Program:

We have an extensive volunteer program for students looking for skills in horse handling, management, reproduction, general horse care. Under the supervision of Debra Ottier, former reproduction researcher and Distance Learning Co-ordinator at the Equine Research Centre at the University of Guelph, students obtain practical skills in all aspects of horse care. Opportunities to learn reproductive techniques and attend workshops are available to those that volunteer with us. We offer a riding/driving lesson or a free ride on one of our professional horses for every 4 hours of work. Volunteers obtain a certificate for the hours volunteered which can be used for high school community work, veterinary applications or even upgrading skills for other equestrian levels. Contact us for more details and availability.
